Bill Sawls wls6@earthlink.com Hi Boomerangs and Bounty Hunters. I was was CE from 9/68 - 9/69. Today, I attended a wreath laying ceremony at The Tomb of The Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetary with the Petric family in honor of Major John A. Petric, Co. Cmdr., who died with four others on this day thirty years ago. It was very moving. One of the others who died that night was my AC, Lt. Dennis Coker. The Petric family was very kind and very interested in the 191st. They will be signing the guest book. Please respond. I remember Bill Flores and Gordon Hahn very well. Has anyone heard from Chuck Henderson? He was my gunner for a while. Take care. I hope to see you at the reunion.
James Wheeler jimw6@worldnet.att.net Thought I'd say hell-o brothers from an old BOOMERANG & BOUNTYHUNTER 1969-1971 Dong Tam and Can Tho. See you in Sept.99
RUDY PETRIC RPetric@aol.com Am looking to connect with anyone who served with my brother, Maj. John A. Petric, in Dong Tam from May 68 until his death 02 March 1969. Thirty years has passed, and the healing is getting better. Thanks, Bill Sawls, for making the trip to The Tomb of the Unknowns to join our family to commemorate my brother's passing.
John A. Petric,Jr. jpe7580275@aol.com Our family has just returned from Arlington National Cemetery after laying a wreath a The Tomb of The Unknowns in honor of 1st. Lt. Dennis Coker, Sp5 Robert Heinmiller, Sp4 George Lovellette, 1st. Lt. Geroge Radtke, Sp4. Carl Douglas, and my father, Maj. John A. Petric KIA 2 March 69. I am searching for the relatives of these men to tell them how much their fallen family members were in our hearts. This day of remembrance was made special by the attendance of a true gentleman who made the time to be a part of this special occassion. God bless you, Bill Sawls. I owe you a debt of honor I fear I may never be able to fully repay, but I promise I will never forget.
Joyce Buchanan jbuchanan@stratos.net I am a sister of Maj John A. Petric who was unable to attend the ceremony on the 30th anniversary of his death. Every year on Mar 2 my parents have a Mass said in his memory. This Tuesday on my way to church, I happened to look up and saw a helicopter flying toward me, then fly away. I'd like to think John had something to do with it! It's been my dream to be able to connect with anyone who served with him during his last tour in Nam.
Jeana Flores jeanaf@hotmail.com Dad, I'm so proud of you! This is great! Thanks for the glimps into your personal history. =o) I love you.

Fr. Ken Strawhand erelis3@excite.com Thanks. You are blessed peacemakers, and we owe you much.
Bill Janes bjanes@microsoft.com To Fr. Ken Strawhand -- It is rare that this webmaster comments on Guest Book entries. While we fought for our lives in the name of peace, some at home called us baby killers. I am encouraged that the light of reason still honors the truth, and the quest for it.
Fr. Ken Strawhand erelis3@excite.com Bill, I read the web page late into last night. This mornings 9AM Mass ( 3/14/99) will be offered with intentions for the Boomerangs that didn't come back. Forgive my tears, and again accept my thanks to you all. Fr. Ken
